Yosemite

In October my parents start craving a getaway and they usually spend the weekend driving the mountain passes and visiting Yosemite. This year we were lucky enough to be invited along! We drove up early in the morning and went straight to Lake Tenaya. We dropped our kayaks in the water and took turned touring the lake and reading our books.  We had a momentous event occur this trip: Lucy is officially old enough to pilot a kayak on her own. She loved having complete control over her boat and direction.

After lunch at Whoa Nellie Deli we went to the Mono Lake visitors center and walked around parts of that lake as well.

We learned we can fit them all on one double bed if we put them sideways:)
The next morning we went to Bodie-an old mining ghost town. I had never been and thought it was awesome.
