Catch up time!!
In September my mom and I took a long weekend and drove to Utah to see Becca and her family-our excuse was Ruby's 4th birthday at the end of the month:)
We decided to drive after school on Thursday and maximize our time in UT by not stopping for the night. My mom is a famously awesome driver and drove the whole way! We finally pulled in to Springville a bit after 2 AM.
Despite our lack of sleep we started having fun immediately. We met Lisa and Anna at Pizza Limone early the next afternoon-it was so fun to see our kids have fun together.
Bajio!! My favorite! It was Chalk the Block at the Riverwoods and we had so much fun looking at all the chalk masterpieces, listening to music and getting our faces painted.
After visiting Grandma Kay and grandpa Dee and the BYU bookstore we finished the day at the Springville splashpad. It was as awesome as Becca had claimed.
The next day we went up to Salt Lake and visited Temple Square. We toured the LDS History Museum and then walked around temple square. Our girls are so cute we had random tourists taking pictures with them like we were celebrities.
...And just like that the weekend was over.
