May Wrap Up

We've had such a glorious May. We went swimming more in one month than probably all of last summer.  Danny used his Life Proof i phone case to capture some pool movements-scared me silly but it worked!

Grandpa Dee just refinished his trampoline!  They have just gone on a trip and we're taking care of their yard, so the kids look forward to going over there to play in the backyard.
Mother's Day 2014! Danny had breakfast planned, but before either of us woke up Lucy had this breakfast of toast, banana and water all ready for me:) My babies came in a minute later repeatedly telling me to have a "happy Mother's Day". It was adorable. I got some great presents including a Star Wars collection (episodes 4-6:), Brigadoon and a special picture from Lucy. That afternoon we had my parents, Grandma Joyce, Jim and Anne (who were visiting for Emma's farewell that day), and Kay and Dee over for dinner. Danny found a recipe for Bake-Sale Betty sandwiches and they were terrific! We all ooh and ahhed over them:) I made a pretty good chocolate cake myself so the evening was a success.
My surprise breakfast from Lucy

Lucy had a 1st grade musical performance.  She is the orange and black on the back row. It was a really cute little show and we loved hearing the songs we'd heard her sing around the house. The little girls were especially excited to see Lucy up there.

Last play group of the season! The little girls ask me every day if it is play group day. They love playing with their "cousins":)
Hanging out with Dad watching their newest obsession: My Little Ponies.
We discovered roaches in the garage. It was horrible. They love eating all the card board boxes stored in their (Aunt Janet's things have been boxed in the garage for a few years). Danny and I emptied the garage, sifted through everything in there and reboxed most of it in plastic boxes. It took us one LONG day. The pest control company had us empty out every kitchen cabinet before they came an sprayed as a precaution so taking everything out and putting it back in took another two days. Grossest days ever.

Lydia is so cute. I don't usually buy rompers ( too hard to go potty in) but Becca gave me this one and it is worth the extra effort. Lydia especially loves it.
I adore Joyce. She is super affectionate.  We watched Toy Story 3 cheek to cheek. It was awesome.
