Spring Break!

We had an incredibly eventful spring break at home this year. Becca arrived on Saturday so we made fun plans for every day of the week.
On Monday we went to the Oakland zoo.  I have a pass and take the little girls abut once a month but Lucy always moans that she never gets to go, so she was extra excited.

My favorite thing about the zoo is the awesome picnic we pack ourselves. Yep, its always about the food.
Since it was a special occasion we rode the train after exploring the zoo.  It was fun but on the way back from the "Australian outback" an emu was standing right in front of the gate so we were stuck there for about ten minutes. Just enough for us to panic and feel like we'd be stuck there forever.

We had a lot of fun plying with Baby Jane. My little girls were espeically enamored with her and loved bringing her toys to play with.

On Tuesday we went to Vacaville and did a little outlets shopping. As a reward for the kids for their good behavior we went to the Nut Tree afterwards and rode the carousel, played on the horsies and went to Fentons for ice cream.

Baby Jane's first bite of ice cream!
My girls' birthday fell on Wednesday and Thursday and warrant posts of their own. On Friday it rained and we stayed close to home. The little girls played and enjoyed the Tinker Bell stickers they got on their birthday.
Mom brought home chickies for kindergarten class and the girls loved holding them.

That evening we left the kids with grandma and Becca and I went to the temple. It was a fun and relaxing escape:)
On Saturday Mom and I took all the girls and checked out some garage sales in San Ramon. That afternoon we got all dressed up and took family pictures with Valerie Porter in the Leininger's backyard. They turned out super cute!
