We ha da really fun 4th of July this year. These dresses have been hanging in the girls' closets since last autumn when we bought them on sale so Lucy was VERY excited to wear her special dress. We also matched with Ruby which Lucy thinks is the greatest thing ever.
It was over 100 degrees so a water party at the Leiningers was the perfect activity. The kids loved the little pool and multiple slip 'nslides and the adults stayed inside the air conditioned house and made brief visits to check on kids:)
That evening we hung out at the Anderson's where we had a fabulous bbq. After dinner we discovered that the Soviets had stolen our Root Beer floats! They led us on a patriotic scavenger hunt to retrieve the ingredients.
